Who we are
Ramp Works MX is a Dobbs Flight Service company providing mobile general aviation maintenance across Central Florida. We come to your hangar, tiedown, or ramp, so your maintenance doesn't have to start with a ferry flight.
What we do — AOG
Ramp Works MX comes to the airplane: down-aircraft response, on-site 50- and 100-hour inspections, and preventative care for Cessna and Piper single-engine, fixed-tricycle-gear aircraft.

A shop that isn't on your side
When a shop bills by the hour, more work means more money for the shop. We shop around for the lowest-cost approved parts, and we're on your side of the table.
Grounded over every little thing
If something can safely wait, we'll tell you, and you decide when to take care of it. If it's a safety issue, we'll tell you that just as plainly.
Paying for new when you don't need to
For parts that aren't safety-critical, we can install serviceable used parts with proper FAA documentation instead of always charging you for new.
How we think about the work
Airlines and charter operators keep airplanes reliable and safe with discipline and process. Every job we do follows standardized steps, relies on the manufacturer's own manuals and service bulletins, and ends with documented work you can hand to the next person who opens the logbook.
Why Dobbs Flight Service built this
Dobbs Flight Service has seen flight-school maintenance from the inside: aging airplanes, heavy use, and the real cost of an airplane sitting on the ground. Ramp Works MX makes what we learned available to Central Florida owners and flight schools.
